Allow me to Re-Introduce Myself…

I’m baaaaaaaack! I took some time off from writing because quite frankly, I had nothing to write about – no excuses, just honesty. I took some time off from oversharing what was expected from businesses like mine and decided to spend more time with me. Stepping away from everything allowed me to reconnect with myself, a much needed break that breathed new life into my creative spirit. For any creatives feeling stuck, a pause might be the reset button you didn’t know you needed.

But, here I am again, embarking on a fresh journey with renewed passion and freedom, armed with a newfound purpose. No longer bound by the conventional norms of business and recognition, I’ve embraced my unique approach. I’m shaping my business, living my life, and sharing parts of myself in a way that feels true to who I am and how I believe God intended. So, let’s dive into this journey together, shall we?

What is Curated X Cassandre? To clarify, the X represents the word “by,” not an actual X. Simply stated, Curated X Cassandre is a Lifestyle Design Firm. My aim is to bridge the gap between life’s most cherished moments (weddings, babies, milestone celebrations, etc.), everyday living (interiors, travel, maintaining a well-lived life), and what I refer to as therapy (art). My unique approach to curating these special moments revolves around intention. Weddings and events are meticulously planned and designed to authentically showcase individual personalities. Living spaces are crafted with deliberate intent, aligning with the life one aspires to lead. Travel becomes a journey of wellness and peace, guided by spiritual intention. For some, it involves assisting them in discovering art that deeply resonates, offering meaning, value, and a touch of joy to their lives. As we embark on this journey together, I will delve deeper into these aspects. I am genuinely thrilled about this new direction. While Cassandre Snyder Events was a fu ride, and will always be a piece of me, Curated X Cassandre truly reflects who I am. So, allow me to introduce my shiny new brand to you.

Now, a little more about me… My most cherished role in life has been that of a Mom – a title I wear with immense pride. I have the privilege of being the mother of an incredible 21-year-old woman, who happens to be attending the illustrious Hampton University (also known as The Real HU).

Beyond my role as a mother, I am an avid collector, gathering things of profound value to me. This could be art, books, unique vintage objects or globally handcrafted goods. Oftentimes an adventure can be found in the search of these things. I’m a multipotentialite, a term that perfectly encapsulates my diverse range of interests and pursuits. My life is a canvas painted with a myriad of passions and talents. I find joy in witnessing new thoughts, ideas, and creations come to life. One day you might find me deeply engrossed in curating unforgettable moments or spaces for a client, the next, learning a new language or learning to ride a skateboard (fun fact: I keep a skateboard in my car to practice during my downtime).  

My love for creation extends far beyond the various services my company provides, it includes recording podcasts (stay tuned for more on that later), and constantly exploring the world in search of new discoveries – I am, after all, a perpetual student of life. Whether it’s diving into a new course, unraveling the intricacies of an art form, or exploring the intersections of various disciplines, the pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong adventure. In essence, being a multipotentialite isn’t just about juggling different roles; it’s a celebration of the rich tapestry of life’s experiences and a commitment to embracing the full spectrum of human potential. My passion for exploration extends to traversing the globe, not merely as a tourist but as a seeker of cultural gems and untold stories. The thrill of discovering new destinations, meeting diverse people, and soaking in the essence of different landscapes is an integral part of my journey.

Whether engrossed in work, jet-setting around the globe, diving into new studies, or simply embracing the act of creation, I find myself in my happy place. What fuels my passion most is living wholeheartedly. 2020, despite its challenges, and the sadness that enveloped the world, was a transformative year that brought clarity to my vision. It became a moment to pause, express gratitude for God’s grace and mercy, and redirect my focus toward living and contributing to making the world a slightly better place.

So, here I am – back and better, ready to share my journey with you! 

As I continue on this journey of growth and self-discovery, I’m excited to share more of my passions, work, things that I value, and the little secrets to the peace that keeps me going.
